A transparent worked example
Using hypothetical inputs of $150 per tonne and a $25 minimum: one 200 kg load costs $30; two equal 100 kg loads cost $50 before travel. These are example inputs, not Canadian average prices.
Unequal trips need separate calculations
Our tool splits the entered weight equally across trips. A 50 kg load and a 450 kg load can produce a different bill from two 250 kg loads. Calculate unequal trips separately with their respective rules.
Never consolidate beyond capacity
A lower disposal total does not justify overloading a vehicle, mixing restricted waste or ignoring facility rules. The calculation is a budget comparison only.
